I am a fourth year student in the Bachelor of Commerce, Real Estate Co-op program and this will be my third year on the URECC team. In past years, I have worked with URECC to recruit teams and manage our marketing initiatives. With the help of my team, we run the top undergraduate real estate case competition in Canada by offering an experience that connects students and industry.
This past summer I worked as a Junior Analyst for Starlight Investments, focusing on market research. Additionally, I have worked as a Sales Assistant at Axio Financial, where I prospected to sell structured investments to American financial advisors.
Vice President, Coporate Relations
I am in my third year at the University of Guelph, where I am enrolled in the Bachelor of Commerce's Real Estate program. This is my first year being apart of URECC where I hold the position of Vice President, Corporate Relations. My role consists of sustaining important relationships with generous sponsors who have supported us in the past as well new potential sponsors looking to take part of a fantastic event.
My focus in Real Estate is towards Commercial Brokerage. The past two summers I have had excellent experiences within the commercial brokerage sector while working for Devencore and Cushman & Wakefield. Upon graduation I look forward to pursuing a career in Commercial Brokerage.
Vice President, Delegate Outreach
I'm a fourth year Real Estate Student here at the University of Guelph. I have always been an avid supporter of getting involved in activities that might give a young adult a competitive advantage over others in a world now where everyone seems to have a University Degree. I am fortunate to be in a program that is grooming the next real estate industry leaders and this shows with the many case competitions that the Guelph Real Estate Program has won, one of which I personally took part in coming in second place behind...you guessed it; another Guelph team.
I have my sights set on the Commercial Real Estate world as my career path and I am hoping to enter into the asset management side of the business for a large financial institution or a private trust. As of writing this, I am in my first Co-op term working as a Data Intelligence Associate Intern at Colliers International. I hope to use this experience to move forward in my professional career.
Vice President, Events
I am currently in my fourth year in the Bachelor of Commerce, Real Estate Co-op program at the University of Guelph. Upon graduation, I hope to pursue a career in real estate development.
This is my first year on URECC and I will be taking on the role as Vice President of Events. My role will involve coordinating event details before, during and after the event to ensure that all attendees have a positive experience.
Given my interest in development, I truly value the opportunity to be on URECC and am excited to show others the impact that Guelph’s unique real estate program can make for the next generation of business leaders.
I am currently in my second year of studies at the University of Guelph, Majoring in Real Estate. This is my first year on the URECC team and I am beyond excited for this year’s event! I am extremely proud to be a part of the Real Estate major and I am glad that this program specializes in such diverse aspects of the rapidly growing and changing real estate markets. This case competition is the perfect way to bring passionate students and real estate professionals together under one roof for a day of hard work and lots of fun!
I see myself in real estate management and development during my co-op, with an end goal of investing in multifamily properties in pursuit of financial freedom. I hope the experiences I have with Co-op, URECC, and the RESA alike help shape who I become both professionally and personally.
