Megan Holtved
President
Megan Holtved is the President of URECC for the 2026 competition. She is in her fourth and final year of the Real Estate program at Guelph. Through her experience as Vice President of Canadian Delegates for the 2025 event, she has developed and brought to life new ideas for the upcoming event in March. She is very excited to lead such a strong team, and she looks forward to another successful year.
Taggart Gula
Vice President
Taggart Gula is entering his fourth year in the Real Estate program at the University of Guelph. Returning from last year as the vice president, Taggart is excited to take this opportunity to work with the 2025-2026 URECC team to create an incredible case competition and welcome judges, delegates, sponsors and industry members to the 2026 competition! From his experience with his last two Co-op terms as a leasing agent at InterRent REIT, and as a Junior Research Assistant at Antec Appraisal Group, as well as being President of URECC last year, he aims to use the skills he has acquired to put his best effort forward for the team. Taggart is looking forward to building connections within the real estate industry and is proud to be a part of a student-led team that has the determination to help host an amazing competition.


Thomas Hayward
VP of Corporate
Thomas Hayward is a fourth-year student at the University of Guelph, pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce in Real Estate and Housing through the Co-op Program. After serving as the VP of Corporate for URECC last year. Thomas will take this role again this year, where he works with industry partners to gain sponsorship and foster long-lasting relationships with our industry partners. With a passion for commercial real estate, Thomas is always expanding his network and finding ways to be involved in real estate within school and in the industry though Co-op. Thomas is very excited for URECC 2026 and looks forward to making meaningful connections with Delegates and Industry members.
Riley Halbert
VP of Delegates
Riley is in his third-year of the Bachelor of Commerce program at the University of Guelph, majoring in Real Estate. He is passionate about real estate and enjoys applying his analytical and communication skills through the University of Guelph Real Estate Case Competition (URECC). Riley loves URECC for the opportunity it provides to collaborate with like-minded students, tackle real-world challenges, and connect with professionals across the industry.


Xavier Boucher
VP of Events
Xavier Boucher is a third-year student at the University of Guelph, pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce in Real Estate in the co-op stream. This is his second year working as the Vice President of Events on the URECC team, where he handles pre-event organization, such as delegate and judge gifts, photography, and awards. He’s looking to take what the team learned in 2025 and apply it to this year, making it the best iteration of the event yet. He has a strong interest in the development side of the commercial real estate industry, making URECC a great opportunity to continue building his knowledge and meeting industry leaders.
William Langlois
Corporate Associate
Will Langlois is a third-year student at the University of Guelph, pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce in Real Estate and Housing through the Co-op Program. After serving as a Brand Ambassador for URECC last year, Will now takes on the role of Corporate Associate, where he contributes to sponsor relations and event coordination. With aspirations in commercial real estate, he is eager to continue building his industry knowledge and professional network. Will looks forward to helping ensure another successful URECC event and creating meaningful connections within the real estate community.


Grace Rawding
Marketing Manager
A third-year co-op student at the University of Guelph, Grace Rawding brings a strong academic foundation in Management, Economics, and Finance to her role as Marketing Manager for URECC. Grace is responsible for the end-to-end management of URECC’s digital platforms, ensuring that both the website and social media channels provide a cohesive and professional brand experience. By focusing on content strategy and creative outreach, she aims to elevate the organization's online profile. Grace looks forward to contributing her creative talents and strategic insights to support the team’s collective success.
Allan Macuase
Brand Ambassador
Allan Macuase is a first-year student at the University of Guelph, pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce in Real Estate through the Co-op Program. As a Brand Ambassador for URECC, Allan promotes and represents the club across campus, social media, and events to strengthen word-of-mouth awareness and student engagement, while working alongside the team to help plan and execute the annual Undergraduate Real Estate Case Competition. Allan is known for being outgoing, approachable, and a strong communicator, and he enjoys connecting with other students through his active involvement on campus. With a strong interest in pursuing a career in commercial real estate, Allan is focused on expanding his professional network and continuing his involvement with URECC throughout his university journey.


Luke Gibson
Brand Ambassador
Luke Gibson is a second-year student at the University of Guelph, studying Marketing Management. This will be Luke’s first year at URECC, joining the team as a brand ambassador. Luke is very excited to join URECC to have the opportunity to contribute towards the event. From advertising, to networking, and operations, Luke is ready to make 2026 a great year for URECC. He is looking forward to gaining invaluable experience from the competition and is excited to meet inspiring business leaders and students alike from the community.
